Holistic
Therapist
I have been
working as a Holistic Therapist since 1995 and have professional qualifications
from, amongst others; ITEC; The British Reflexology Association; and The
College of Sound Healing. I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher.
I am committed to continuous self-development and, to that end, I have
attended various workshops/courses over the years ranging from health;
self-awareness; nutrition; flower essences; music and sound therapies;
relaxation; meditation and counselling.
I am based in Somerset, and have a private
practice at home, near Wells and also at the Ashtat Centre, Glastonbury. I also run monthly 'Sound
Relaxation and Meditation' sessions at the Ashtat Centre and at Lotus Lounge,
Wells.
I offer a professional approach, combined with a relaxed and
friendly manner.
Shakuhachi Player
I have been playing the Shakuhachi
for over 20 years, having started to learn it whilst studying for a Music degree
at Dartington College of Arts in the 1980s. Since that time, I have enjoyed
learning with a variety of different teachers, in order to explore a range of
styles. I find the Shakuhachi to be utterly captivating - its haunting sound
takes me into a different realm. As such, it is a valuable tool both for my
own spiritual growth and also for use in my Sound Therapy sessions with
clients - both one-to-one and in groups.

I have a busy calendar for the
coming year - including concerts, talks/performances, and playing at private
events. However, please do not hesitate to contact me for further information
if you would like the Shakuhachi to feature at one of your future events.
Free Time
In my spare time; I practise Qi Gong and Yoga; sing in a local choir; and
also enjoy pottery, felt-making, spinning, weaving and dyeing.
If you would like to be added to my mailing list, to receive information
about future events, please do email me at the address below.
